RYOBI Pressure Washer Parts & Compatibility

Use the exact RYOBI pressure-washer model before selecting a replacement hose, trigger handle, adapter, nozzle, surface cleaner or pump. Current RYOBI accessories span different electric, gas and EZClean systems, so brand name alone is not a compatibility rule.

RYOBI parts: model number first

A RYOBI logo does not define one pressure-washer interface. Record the machine model, then match the exact accessory/part number, connection and pressure/flow limits.

If you are still identifying the machine family, start at the RYOBI pressure-washer hub.

Surface cleaners: match the cleaner class, not the color

RYOBI currently publishes several surface cleaners with different intended pressure-washer classes. RY31SC12 is a 12-inch, 2300-PSI cleaner with a 1/4-inch quick connect. RY31SC15 is a 15-inch cleaner for most gas pressure washers up to 3400 PSI and 2.5 GPM. The current collection also lists electric-only and higher-output gas cleaners.

Use the surface-cleaner compatibility page to verify the same variables across brands: GPM, PSI, connection, temperature and nozzle configuration.

Hose replacement: the product name may not expose every interface detail

RYOBI's current collection clearly identifies products such as RY31HPHE23 as a 2300-PSI electric-pressure-washer hose and RY31HPH01 as a 35-foot pressure-washer hose, but some current product pages expose little connection detail in their public text. That is a reason to use the machine manual or RYOBI replacement-parts lookup rather than filling in missing M22/QC details by assumption.

See the hose guide and fittings guide for the connection checklist.

Trigger guns, handle kits and conversion adapters

The current RY31036K trigger-handle kit is documented for most pressure washers up to 3600 PSI. RY31QCK01 is a seven-piece adapter kit documented for most pressure washers up to 4000 PSI and is intended to connect the garden hose to the pump inlet, high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and hose to trigger handle.

Those broad statements still do not establish the exact interface on every RYOBI machine. Before converting connections, identify machine outlet → high-pressure hose → gun inlet → gun outlet → wand/nozzle. Avoid creating a chain of adapters that exceeds any component rating or introduces an unsupported proprietary-to-standard conversion.

Gas pressure-washer pump replacement

RYOBI gas-model pump searches are common, but the replacement must be treated as a machine/pump match rather than a brand-only match. A candidate pump needs the correct shaft orientation and diameter, bolt/flange pattern, shaft length/keying, engine RPM/power, ports, unloader and physical clearance.

Unknown is preferable to a made-up part cross-reference

If a RYOBI product page does not document the exact model compatibility or interface needed, this site will not infer it from appearance, retailer Q&A or a similar model. Use the official manual/parts lookup or manufacturer support to close the gap.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the right RYOBI pressure washer replacement part?

Start with the exact pressure-washer model number, then use the manufacturer product/manual or replacement-parts lookup. Match the part number and interface rather than searching only by PSI or brand.

Is RY31SC12 compatible with every RYOBI electric pressure washer?

No universal claim should be made from the brand alone. RY31SC12 is a 12-inch, 2300-PSI surface cleaner with a 1/4-inch quick connect. The pressure washer must have the compatible connection and fall within the cleaner’s operating requirements.

Will RY31SC15 work on an electric RYOBI pressure washer?

RYOBI documents RY31SC15 for most gas pressure washers up to 3400 PSI and 2.5 GPM. Use an electric-specific cleaner or exact manufacturer compatibility evidence rather than assuming the gas cleaner is appropriate.

Is the RY31036K trigger handle kit universal?

RYOBI describes it as compatible with most pressure washers up to 3600 PSI, not every pressure washer. Confirm the hose-side connection and the complete gun/wand interface for the exact machine.

Can I replace a RYOBI pressure washer hose by matching PSI only?

No. Hose length, working pressure, temperature, inside diameter and both end connections matter. Some RYOBI hose product pages provide limited interface detail, so the exact washer manual/parts lookup may be required.

Can an aftermarket pump replace a RYOBI gas pressure-washer pump?

Possibly, but shared PSI or engine brand is not enough. Verify shaft orientation and diameter, mounting pattern, shaft length/keying, RPM/power, inlet/outlet orientation, unloader configuration and frame clearance.
