DEWALT Pressure Washer Guide
DEWALT pressure washers range from handheld cordless power cleaners to 4-GPM professional gas and electric machines. The correct accessory path depends on the exact model, flow, pressure and interface—not the DEWALT name alone.
First identify the DEWALT machine family
Record the model number, power type, PSI/GPM and existing hose/gun connections. Keep DCPW power cleaners separate from conventional DCPW/DWPW/DXPW pressure-washer systems unless DEWALT explicitly cross-lists the part.
For connection records and accessory part numbers, continue to DEWALT pressure washer parts & compatibility.
Current DEWALT machines span portable cleaners through 4-GPM professional systems
DEWALT's current U.S. pressure-washer collection mixes cordless power cleaners, a true cordless pressure washer, compact electric jobsite washers, professional electric machines and gas/commercial machines. That range is too broad for a brand-only accessory rule.
Power cleaners and pressure washers are different DEWALT paths
DCPW550 / DCPW1000 power cleaners
DEWALT explicitly calls these portable products power cleaners. The DCPW550 can draw from a fresh-water source and includes its own hose adaptor, wand and nozzles. Do not infer compatibility with DXPW professional hoses/guns.
DCPW1600 and conventional washers
DCPW1600Y2 is explicitly a cordless pressure washer and includes a 25-ft high-pressure hose, separate suction hose and conventional cleaning nozzles. Compact DWPW and professional DXPW systems then add other connection and rating classes.
DEWALT publishes unusually useful standard-interface accessory data
Several current DEWALT accessories state the exact interface rather than only the pressure rating. Examples include a spray gun that accepts standard M22 or QC high-pressure hose connections, a 31-in wand that uses standard M22 at the gun and 1/4-in QC at the nozzle end, and a 3/8-in professional hose with QC socket/plug fittings.
That data makes documented interface matching possible for a defined standard-interface system. It still does not prove that every compact DEWALT electric or cordless machine exposes those same washer-side connections. See DEWALT parts & compatibility for the matrix.
Professional DEWALT pump families also vary
Current DEWALT gas machines include AAA and CAT triplex-pump models, while the current 3400-PSI PressuReady gas model uses an axial-cam pump. Even within one brand, a pump replacement must follow the exact pressure-washer model, existing pump/part number and drive geometry.
Use the pump guide, replacement-pump checklist and Pump Finder rather than matching only by PSI/GPM.
High-output DEWALT machines require high-flow accessories
A DXPW3000E at 4.0 GPM and a DWPW3000 at 1.1 GPM share a “3000” pressure number but create very different hose, nozzle and attachment requirements. Compare PSI vs GPM and use the exact working ratings for every component.

Frequently asked questions
Are all DEWALT pressure washer accessories interchangeable?
No. DEWALT currently sells lower-pressure cordless power cleaners, a cordless pressure washer, compact electric washers, professional electric systems and gas/commercial machines. Match the exact model, connection path and operating ratings.
Is the DEWALT DCPW550 a pressure washer or a power cleaner?
DEWALT calls DCPW550 a 20V MAX power cleaner. It is a portable 550-MAX-PSI / 1.0-GPM system with fresh-water draw and its own wand/adaptor/nozzles. Treat it separately from conventional pressure-washer replacement parts unless cross-compatibility is documented.
Do DEWALT professional pressure washers use standard quick connects?
Many current professional machines and accessories publish standard interfaces. For example, DXPW4440 has a 3/8-in hose with quick-connect fittings, and DEWALT sells M22/1/4-in/3/8-in standard-interface accessories. Verify the exact machine before applying that to compact or cordless models.
Does 3000 PSI mean two DEWALT washers use the same accessories?
No. DWPW3000 is a compact electric machine listed at 1.1 GPM, while DXPW3000E is a professional electric machine listed at 4.0 GPM. Flow, hose size, connections and component ratings can be very different.
Can I replace a DEWALT gas pressure-washer pump by matching output?
No. Current DEWALT gas models use different pump designs and brands. The replacement also needs compatible shaft, mount, RPM/power, ports, unloader and physical clearance.
Where should I start for DEWALT replacement guns, hoses and wands?
Identify the exact machine-side connection first, then compare it with DEWALT’s published accessory interfaces such as M22, 1/4-in quick connect and 3/8-in quick connect. The DEWALT parts page on this site lays out those documented paths.
